TedBoy Bakery is located in Bangsar and serves its own freshly prepared products.
The challenge faced with the logo design is its name which does not have any true meaning other than being someone’s nickname. I wanted to avoid using an illustration of a character or chef as that is so overused. I also had to be careful how TB is used as it does not have a pleasant connotation, especially for a food & beverages brand.
The logo has to be distinctively unique to TedBoy yet tell the story of the business. After many sketches a few options was presented to the client and Patrina immediately selected one which is the one you see here.
It is made up of a small lowercase letter ‘t’ for Ted inside the letter ‘B’ for Boy and together they are designed to look like a piece of pastry with its content.
